Terry Mercer

Terry has over 30 years of experience assisting clients with buying, selling, and investing in real estate and land. He earned a BA from the University of South Florida and a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. Terry co-founded, developed, and pastored a large, staffed church with a campus in Athens, Georgia.

He obtained his real estate license in October 1993 and his broker's license in 1996. His accolades include New Face of The Year (1994), Life Member Million Dollar Club, Phoenix Award, and Platinum Award. Terry has been both a partner and broker-owner of his company and more recently, the managing broker of VPR. He is passionate about teaching and collaborating with agents on land, commercial, and luxury real estate listings and sales.

Terry has a rich history in land transactions, having listed and sold thousands of acres in Georgia and South Carolina. He created Land 101 to provide a practical approach to land business. On a personal note, Terry and his wife, Joan, have 7 children, 14 grandchildren, and two dogs, Annabel and Poptart.
