Committees
400N C.A.R.E.S.
This committee fosters connections and collaboration within our Association and strengthens our REALTOR® community by creating additional opportunities for value, based on Member needs.
Affiliate Affinity Program
This committee promotes affiliate membership as well as fosters relationships with current affiliates ensuring that all benefits are being utilized.
Circle of Excellence
This committee reviews Circle of Excellence (COE) rules and examines all COE applications to qualify them for approval by the Board of Directors. Additionally, this committee plans the Circle of Excellence Banquet, held in March.
Commercial Council
This committee aims to provide its members with a range of resources to help them be successful in their careers and provide high-quality service to their clients.
Community Service
This committee plans, organizes, and produces events and/or projects that benefit our surrounding community. Additionally, this committee plans and organizes events that allow our members to network with one another.
Education
This committee plans, organizes, and promotes all educational seminars.
Governmental Affairs
This committee reviews legislation and recommends political action to protect the interests of REALTORS®, our industry, and our clients. It shapes the formulation of local laws and regulations through professional lobbying, grassroots advocacy, and supporting the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates for public office.
RPAC
This committee raises funds and recommends disbursements for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee.
YPN Planning
This committee will plan future YPN events, as well as provide direction for how the YPN can best serve our members.
Statewide Professional Standards Cooperative
The 400 North Association is a member of the Statewide Professional Standards Cooperative established by the Georgia Association of REALTORS®.

Nominations are reviewed
each November and approved for 3-year terms beginning in January of the next year. You will be notified if approved for these committees
Grievance
This committee reviews and investigates complaints against members as well as arbitration requests filed with the Association. When appropriate, it refers them to the Professional Standards Committee for a hearing.
In order to participate on this committee, you must: (1) have held REALTOR® membership for a minimum of three years; (2) attend a GAR-approved Professional Standards training seminar; and (3) sign a confidentiality agreement.
Professional Standards
This committee encourages strict adherence to the REALTORS® Code of Ethics by all members. It conducts hearings on alleged violations of the Code of Ethics, commission disputes, and other matters referred by the Grievance Committee and/or the Board of Directors.
In order to participate on this committee, you must: (1) have held REALTOR® membership for a minimum of five years; (2) attend a GAR-approved Professional Standards training seminar; and (3) sign a confidentiality agreement.
