2026 Days at the Dome Brings REALTORS® to the Capitol
February 25, 2026
Last week, REALTORS® from across Georgia gathered at the State Capitol for the 2026 Days at the Dome, a signature advocacy event bringing members face-to-face with lawmakers to discuss issues impacting property owners and the real estate industry.
Throughout the day, REALTORS® met with legislators to advocate for Georgia REALTOR® legislative priorities and reinforce the critical role real estate plays in the state’s economy. Conversations focused on protecting private property rights, supporting policies that promote housing affordability, and ensuring a strong, balanced regulatory environment.
In addition to core priorities, members discussed several key issues under consideration this session, including licensing requirements and insurance standards for home inspectors, eliminating the bond limit on loans to enhance the Georgia Dream Homeownership Program, and advancing common-sense reforms for homeowners associations (HOAs), property owners associations (POAs), and condominium owners associations (COAs) to better protect homeowners.
