Forsyth County Board Of Education Announces Superintendent Finalist

The Forsyth County Board of Education recently announced Mr. James Mitchell “Mitch” Young as the next Superintendent of Schools. His appointment is expected to be finalized on March 27.
Mr. Young has been a Forsyth County teacher, assistant principal, principal, and deputy superintendent over the last 17 years. Mr. Young is well known for his efforts in establishing strong relationships between the school system and our business community.
The school system’s current superintendent recently announced his intention to retire on November 1 of this year.
