Why RPAC Matters: Turning REALTOR® Advocacy into Results
February 25, 2026
Every REALTOR® benefits from strong advocacy — and those advocacy wins don’t happen by accident. They happen because REALTORS® invest in the Atlanta REALTORS® PAC and ensure our industry has a seat at the table when critical decisions are made at all levels of government.
In 2025, that investment delivered measurable results:
Major Tax Reform Wins for Real Estate - This year’s federal tax reform legislation included five key NAR priorities that protect both real estate professionals and consumers.
Protecting Veteran Home Loan Benefits - The National Association of REALTORS® successfully fought to ensure veterans can continue to use a REALTOR® when purchasing a home with their VA Home Loan benefit. This victory safeguards access, representation, and fairness for those who have served our country.
Securing Property Tax Relief - Georgia Lawmakers passed legislation implementing mandatory statewide property tax caps, limiting how quickly home values can be assessed (tied to inflation) for primary residences.
Successfully opposed a cumbersome and expensive Tree Protection Ordinance in the City of Atlanta.
RPAC is not a party-based investment — it is a pro-REALTOR®, pro-property rights investment. It supports candidates who understand the real estate industry and the critical role it plays in local communities and the national economy.
