State Budget Includes Additional Funding for Georgia’s Transportation Infrastructure Bank

The Georgia FY 2025 budget takes effect on July 1, 2024, and includes a revised revenue estimate of $36.1 billion, an increase of $3.7 billion or 11.4% over the FY 2024 original budget. The budget also includes an additional $2.4 million in new funding for the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank (GTIB).
GTIB grants are a significant funding source and lend credibility to secure additional funding for local governments and Community Improvement Districts (CIDs) infrastructure projects. These funds are critically important to the economic health of our communities and our state.
